Tenth Sandpiper 565 Rendezvous 2014

Pure Michigan

August 15-18, 2014
Lake St Clair, MI

Lake St Clair is a great lake between two Great Lakes. With an area of 440 square miles, there's room enough for some serious boating and sailing, with scenery ranging from quiet delta to urban skylines to international shipping lanes.

Michigan resident and Sandpiper veteran Bob (Latis), with help from our other Michigan sailors, has pulled together a great program for this special Rendezvous, Not only is it the tenth Rendezvous, it is also the first Rendezvous to be held in the United States. For once, the Michigan arm of the mighty Sandpiper fleet won't have to do the big drive...

Our base for this Rendezvous will be the North Star Sail Club (NSSC), which is located on the Clinton River, a short motor in from the lake.
